Graduated from the Belarusian agricultural Academy in 1959.

Career

Since 1973 she has been the younger scientific employee, since 1976 - the senior scientific employee, since 1980 - the head of the sector, since 1991- the head of the Department of Agrarian Economics Institute of the National Academy of Sciences in Belarus. Since 2008 she has been the head of the Department of the Institute of System Research in the Agroindustrial Complex of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

Achievements

• She has written 280 scientific works, including. 32 monographs in the area of theory and methodology of national food security, including the mechanisms of its achievements on the basis of its own production of raw materials and food, as well as the balance of product markets at the national and regional levels. Sha has also been interested in the basis of market relations; principles and regularities of formation of agrarian policy aimed at ensuring food security, sustainability of rural development; the problems of innovative development, the improvement of external economic relations in the agrarian sphere; formation and functioning of the balanced markets of raw materials and food; the efficiency and competitiveness of production, providing food independence of the country; the prospects of development of the domestic food market, tendencies and regularities of the functioning of global markets agricultural products and food; and the problems of import substitution and development of export potential of agro-industrial complex; rational accommodation and deepening of specialization of agricultural production; development of agribusiness and entrepreneurship in agrarian sphere.
