SEDOY, Zinoviy was born in 1876.
Metalworker by trade. In emigration worked as automobile mechanic From 1893 in revol movement.
Member, Moscow Workers1 Union. 1896 twice arrested; 1897, after release from prison, moved to Saint St. Petersburg. Until 1905 Party work in Saint St. Petersburg, Nizhniy Novgorod, Moscow and Tiflis.
Several times arrested and exiled. 1905, during December armed revolt in Moscow, chief of staff, battle squads in Presna Rayon. 1906 moved to Finland and served as secretary, Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party Military Revol Organisation
Took part in Sveaborg Uprising. Late 1906 emigrated after suppression of this revolt. Lived in France; twice arrested for anti-war propaganda.
1917 returned to Russia. Fought in Cicil War; from 1919 worked for Centr Military Communications Board, then for People's Commissariat of Means of Communication. 1921-1939 director, “1905 December Armed Uprising” Cotton Technicum.
Delegation at 4th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th and 16th Party Congresses. At 10th Party Congress elected member, Centr Control Commission.
