Visiting scientist Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Oxford, 1980-1982. Member National High Technology Intertial Confinement Fusion committee, Beijing, since 1993.

Leader Driver Sub Committee, Shanghai, since 1993. Member of national climbing project FS Laser Technology and Ultrafast Phenomena, Xian, since 1992.
