Her advocacy has since made her the youngest person to be profiled by Forbes. In 2014, at age 12, Oduwole was the world"s youngest filmmaker to have a self-produced work screened commercially, after her film showed in two movie chains. Oduwole has interviewed 15 world leaders and has also appeared in popular television stations including Consumer News and Business Channel, Bloomberg television, British Broadcasting Corporation and Cable News Network. In 2013, after the release of her documentary film titled The 1963 Organization of African Unity Formation, Oduwole was profiled in Forbes Magazine thus making her become the world"s youngest person to be featured in the magazine.
In 2014 at age 12, her self-produced documentary film titled A Promising Africa which was screened in five countries, made her the youngest person to screen a self-produced movie commercially.
On April 21, 2014, Oduwole was listed among 100 persons in Business Insider"s "World"s Most Powerful Person at Every Age". In February 2015, Elle Magazine listed her in their annual feature of "33 Women Who Changed The World", alongside Federation Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen and President of General Motors, Mary Barra.
In 2015 it was reported that she had interviewed 14 African heads of state.
Oduwole is working on a project called "Dream Up, Speak Up, Stand Up", a campaign which she started in March 2013 in Lagos for the activism and promotion of girl-child education in Africa.
