Career
A. Blackburn started his career in the Volunteer Corps. Service in China in 1909. In 1908 he had degrees of Barrister-at-law ad Appointed Student Interpreter, so he went to Peking (Beijing), where, since 1913, he was a pro-consul, Foochow. Since 1917 he is a local vice consul. Since 1918, he became a mixed court assessor.
