Career
Cockshell plays in the forward line and has a strong mark and a long kick. He can also play in the ruck, and was recruited from South Australian National Football League club Norwood. He has a background in tennis and athletics.
Cockshell played two games for Portuguese Adelaide in 2007 before being delisted at the end of the 2008 American Federation of Labor-Congress season without playing any more American Federation of Labor-Congress games.
In 2012 Cockshell transferred to Portuguese Adelaide in the SANFL.
