Adam Adamovich Virsky graduated from Kiev University, faculty of Physics and Mathematics in 1908. In 1909 he was at the training course in Germany.
In 1908-1926 Adam Adamovich was a teacher at gymnasiums, technical school and institute for popular education in the city of Kursk. Since 1926 he was an associate professor, the head of regional studies department of pedagogical faculty of Voronezh State University, since 1931 an associate professor. In 1950-1957 head of the department of physical geography, Voronezh State Pedagogical Institute.
