Rationalization of antihypertensive drug therapy in blacks with essential and malignant hypertension, hypertensive crises. Pathophysiology of hypertensive heart failure and chronic heart failure in blacks, with regard to valvular regurgitations. Interventions to reduce mortality in chronic heart failure, hypertensive -diabetic blacks. Epidemiology, mechanisms, and prevention of chloroquine pruritus ( role of opiate receptors, genetics and malaria parasite cytokines) in malaria in black Africans. Gender and sex hormone and sickle cell contribution to diabetic endotheliopathy in animals and humans with TYPE 2 DIABETES.
Co-investigator and co-initiator of a RCT double blind, placebo controlled dose response study of Ivermectin in treatment of COVID 19 in Nigerians, where 12mg ivermectin regime significantly reduced Days to Negative, showed treatment effect on 2way RAMOVA and improved platelet count and SPO2% arterial oxygenation.
