  • Achievements include development of new biomolecules with neuroprotective and hypocholesterolemic properties using biocatalytic and directed evolution techniques. Research in laccase with improved activity in organic solvents. Development of continuous process for the production of enzymes with immobilized cells in an air-lift reactor.

    Development of solid state fermentation process for the production of enzymes. Development of high yielding microbial strains by conventional methods.
