He initially studied in Air Force Bal Bharati School, Lodhi Road in Delhi and later went to a boarding school in DehradunWelham Boys’ School.
Aditya Jassi has signed for a multi-album deal with Universal Music. lieutenant was here that he was introduced & fell in love with Music & Theatre. In college however, Theatre took a back seat and Music & Sports was at the fore front.
An English graduate from Delhi University, Music was still not a professional choice then which led him to pursue Civil Aviation.
A Private Pilot License holder from the Delhi Flying Club, Aditya worked several jobs from Freelance Print Journalist to a Copywriter before completing his Post-Graduation in Mass Communication before joining Sahara News Channel as a Reporter/Producer/Anchor. But music was all he wanted to do.
In 2006, he quit his job at Sahara to pursue music professionally. FAME-X
Post FAME-X in 2007, Aditya ventured into Bollywood debuting with a song “Yaad Aaye Who Din” for the Jimmy Shergill-KK Menon starrer Strangers released in 2007.
He launched his band Ni9Ne (with Music Producer-Guitar Player Sachin Gupta).
‘7’ came through after years of struggle and hardships. lieutenant started with record labels not wanting to invest in ‘Non-Film Music’ as the industry seemed to have forgotten about independent artists. The album was co-Produced by Vinayak Gupta and Mixed by Vijay Dayal at Yash Raj Studios.
