Yuki Aisoka was born in Yamagata Prefecture in 1893..
Aisoka Yuki had no formal education but studied waka poetry by himself.
Aisoka Yuki eventually joined the editorial staff of Araragi magazine, which was then edited by Mokichi Saito. Among his anthologies are San-roku (Foot of the Mountain) and Gunho (Range of Peaks). Also writes stray notes on farm life. A book of his essays is titled "Notes on Village Life."
