Aki No Bo

Background

Disciple of Basho Matsuo, great master of Haiku, he was chief priest of the Renshoji Temple in Kanazawa (Ishikawa Prefecture). He left collections of his poetry, including Kita-no-Yamagusa and Soan-Shu.
