Career
From 1972 to 1973, Alan Gustav Artner worked as an apprentice music critic for the Chicago Tribune, after having received a Rockefeller Grant for the Training of Music Critics. Since 1973, Alan Gustav Artner has been working as an art critic for the same newspaper. As a critic he specializes in art and photography.
