He served as President of the local A.I.A. Chapter from 1873 to 1876 (the second member to be elected to that office) and in a later period, 1882 to 1889. Active in practice, Mr Nash designed several churches in Ohio cities, among which were the Catholic Church of the Assumption in Walnut Hills, Presbyterian Church at 1866 and the Presbyteriai‘ Church at Pine Hills. The Milwaukee Court House that was constructed in 1872 and demolished 1939, as well as St. Stanislaus Church in Milwaukee.
He was a founding member of the Cincinnati chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
