Templeton, Alec was born on July 4, 1910 in Cardiff, Wales. Son of Andrew Bryson and Sarah May Templeton.

Education

Educated Worcester College, England, 1918-1926, Royal Academy of Music, London, 1926-1927 (licentiate), Royal College of Music, 1928-1932 (associate).

Career

Came to the United States, 1935, naturalized, 1941. Began as concert pianist, 1932. Radio artist and recitalist.

Soloist with major symphonies, San Francisco, Philadelphia, New York, Seattle, Minneapolis, Chicago, Houston.
