Designed many types of Soviet military aircraft (Iak-1,-3,-7, BB-22, Iak-28, and UT-2), civil aircraft (Iak-40, and -42), the helicopter Iak-24, the first Soviet jump jet, and sporting and training aircraft. Academician, 1976.
