Aleksandr Men’, Russian Orthodox clergyman.


Men’, Aleksandr was born in 1935 in Moscow.


Studied at the Irkutsk Fur Trade Institute. Graduated from the Moscow Theological Academy.


Became interested in religion and entered the Orthodox Seminary in Leningrad. Priest, 1958. Became known as a religious writer. His popular history of comparative religion has been published in several volumes by the Catholic Russian publishing house Zhizn’s Bogom in Brussels.
