1912 graduate Natural Sciences Department, Physics and Mathematics Faculty, Kazan’ University.
From 1912 taught at Kazan’ Business College. 1920 graduated to high-school teaching. Taught geography at Yakutsk University, Chita Institute of Public Education and Far Eastern University.
1934-1954 professor, department head, and dean of Geographical Faculty, Moscow’s Lenin State Teachers’ Training Institute. Studied physico-geographical characteristics of Siberia. Did research on methods of teaching geography in higher and secondary schools.
From 1933 helped draft geography syllabi and curricula for higher and secondary educational establishments. Helped write 5th-grade textbook “Fizicheskaya geografiya” (Physical Geography). Wrote other textbooks and teaching aids for high schools, as well as methodical aids for teachers.
Religious faith contradicts people’s efforts to obtain the truth about nature and a human being.
Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
