Aleksandr Shabalin, USSR Vice-admiral.


Shabalin, Aleksandr was born in 1914.


Joined the Red Navy, 1936. Took part in the Soviet-Finnish war, 1939-1940. Became widely known as a navy captain during World War II. Twice Hero of the Soviet Union.

Deputy Commander of the Frunze Naval Academy, 1969-1975.

The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
