1927 graduate Military Academy.
From 1914 in Russian Army. Fought in World War 1 in the ranks, and then as officer 1918 19 helped establish Soviet regime and restore economics in Ves’yegonsk Uyezd.
1919 volunteered for Red Army. Commanded brigade, then div against Denikin, insurgent troops in Dag, Azer and Arm, Ferghana and Bukhara. 1927 appointed commander and comissar, of infantry corps, then assistant commander Belorussian Military district.
From 1930 head, Red Army Military Training Establishments Board. From 1934 commandant, Zhukovskiy Air Force Academy. From 1936 head, Red Army Higher Military Training Establishments Board.
1955 pensioned.
