Commander of the Northern Group of Forces (1984-1987), Central Asian Military District (1987-1989), Far Eastern Military District (1989-1992). Advisor to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation (1992-1993). Project Manager at the All-Russia Exhibition Center Expo, deputy director of the Transit-SV railway company (since 1993). Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Azerbaijan SSR, Byelorussian SSR, USSR, RSFSR.
