Alexey Lastovetsky, Ukrainian research scientist, lecturer. Achievements include design of a parallel C programming language for vector and superscalar computers; design of mpC programming language for parallel computing on heterogeneous networks; development of a parallel C portable compiler, mpC programming system; research in parallel algorithms for efficient solution of scientific problems on heterogeneous networks of computers.
Lastovetsky, Alexey was born on August 6, 1957 in Zaporozhye, Ukraine. Son of Leonid and Lyudmila Lastovetsky.
