Secured charter from Congress, 1926, and organized company to contract for bridge across Mississippi River at Alton, Illinois, and across Missouri River at Bellefontaine, Missouri, making short route from Alton to St. Louis. Sold Lewis & Clark bridge to St. Charles County, Missouri Elected.
