Ali Mir Sadeghi, American Soil scientist. Achievements include demonstration of correlations between microwave reflectivity and soil water status; demonstration that evaporation modals can be extended to cover overcast sky conditions by replacing the albedo with radar reflectivity; development of new empirical equation which significantly improved urea movement in soil.
