Descended from the family of workers. Before school he was brought up by his grandmother in Pagulianka village, Chervensky region. In 1961 his parents moved to Dukora where Pisaryk finished ten-year school. He worked as a shop assistant in recreational goods store, and a forwarding agent of a general store in Smilovichi (1972 – 73).
He lives in Minsk.
In 1973 – 75 he served in the Army. Then he worked in the local newspaper “Banner of Labor” (1975 –76), later
he worked at the Minsk Tractor Plant (1776 – 85). In 1977 – 80 he studied at evening
department in BSU (finished 3 courses). Since 1985 he has worked in Minsk tram
and trolleybus depot, at the beginning as a locksmith and since 1990 as an
economist. Pisaryk’s first poem “Haystacks” was published in 1973 in the
newspaper “Minsk Truth”. The books of poetry “White May” and “Spring Rains”
were published. His poetry is based on the treasures of oral folk poetry, on
the mastering of the artistic experience of the Belarusian classics. A lyrical
hero is a man of an active vital position, a creator. Civil motifs, anxiety for
the destiny of the nation and its language, for our uneasy time are appreciable
in Pisaryk’s works. A lot of poems are devoted to recent and distant history,
the beauty of Belarusian nature, love (“Houses”, “Cuckoo in the Pine Forest”,
“Streams of Light”, “Mother’s Song”, “Stony Field”). Some selected poems of the
poet were translated into the Russian and Ukrainian languages.
