Alla Vladimirovna attended Voronezh Children's Art School (1981-1982), was engaged in drawing in the workshops of V.A.Donsky (1987), O.V. Dmitrienko (1991), painting and composition with A.V. Bogachev (1986-1991).
She graduated from the Voronezh Art School (1991), faculty of graphics of the Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov (now Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov).
Since 1993 Alla Vladimirovna is a participant of all-Russian and foreign exhibitions. In the field of easel painting works mainly in the genres of portrait, nude, still life. She performed a series of lithographs "Pushkin - Poet" (1996-1997), "Poets of the Silver Age" (1997-2004), a number of theater posters. The personal exhibition of Reshetnikova was held in New York at the A. Glazer Museum of Modern Art (2003).
