Amos Buchner is an Israeli Oral pathologist, educator and researcher. He is famous outside of Israel. Amos Buchner is a member of American Academy Oral Pathology, American Academy Oral Medicine and International Association Oral Pathology. He has more than 130 publications in various scientific magazines related to dentistry.
Education
Amos Buchner is a Doctor of Medical Dentistry. He graduated from Hebrew University, Jerusalem, in 1962. Also Amos Buchner finished University Washington in1968.
Career
Amos Buchner was a director of dental services at Israel Defense Forces in the period of 1969-1973 and a head forensic identification from 1975 till 1993. He is a chairman of the department of oral pathology at Tel-Aviv University since 1969 and a Consultant International Dental Federation since 1972.
