Career
He is an accountant from Menufiya and currently works as procurement manager with the Egyptian International Schools Group. In 2013, the 6 April movement held internal elections to determine who would succeed Ahmed Maher as the organization"s coordinator. The vote resulted in Amr Ali"s elevation as the movement"s new coordinator.
In 2015, Amr Ali was forcibly disappeared and subsequently reported by Freedom for the Brave to be detained at Tora prison.
