Wang, An-Bang was born on September 14, 1957 in Taichung, Taiwan. Son of Feng-Ton Wang and Bi-Chu Chen.

Associate professor Institute Applied Mechanics, Taipei, 1991—2001. Professor Institute Applied Mechanics National Taiwan University, since 2001. Director optomechatronics education resource center Ministry of Education, Taipei, 2002—2004, counselor advisory office, since 2004.

Director Laboratory Thermal Science and Flow Control, since 1993.
