In the Red Army since 1937. The navigator of the squadron of the 166th Guards Ground Attack Air Regiment (17th Air Army, 3rd Ukrainian Front). By February 1945, made 109 operational flights, participated in more than 20 air battles.
Since 1956 - Colonel of the reserve. He lived in Voronezh, worked in a number of universities in the city.
