He graduated from Voronezh school of the 2nd stage (1931), Voronezh State Medical Institute (1937).
He served as a doctor in the aviation regiment in the Far East. Participant of the Great Patriotic War. In 1946 he was transferred to the Belarusian Military District (part of the long-range aviation), demobilized with the rank of lieutenant colonel of the medical service (1963).
He lived in Bobruisk, Mogilev region. He published first literary experiments (poems) in the circulation of Voronezh State Medical Institute (1933). The author of the novel "In the Far East" (Minsk, 1954, 1956, 1962, 1986; translated into Czech, Prague, 1958), the story "Under Our Goal" (Minsk, 1976), a collection of stories "How Homa Laughed" (Minsk, 1994).
