Career
Standing 180 cm and weighing 92 kg, he plays in the centre position. He has also played for Hull Kingston Rovers. He played for amateur club New Lynn Stags and for Bartercard Cup side Mountain Albert Lions.
He attended the University of Auckland.
Bauer like his many compatriots playing League and Rugby is of Samoan Heritage. He signed for the National Conference side Egremont Rangers on 20 September 2011.
