There is no information about his early life and childhood. He was a graduate artist with a degree from Sankt St. Petersburg Academy. On 1914, he was awarded in First prize in Kyev painting contest.
At first, he was living in Zrenjanin where he was become a painting teacher in First Serbian gymnasium.
Four years later he went to Belgrade. From 1924 to 1941 he was painting fresco paintings on many church walls in Belgrade and Serbia.
When the Communist regime took control in Serbia, Bicenko fled to the United States. At first he was situated in Philadelphia, and then in Cleveland and New New York
He continued to paint frescos in many Orthodox Christian churches in the United States.
Andrei Bicenko died in 1985 in Cleveland.
After the Russian socialist revolution, he escaped to the island of Lemnos and a few months later to Serbia.
