Born in New York, Cassese is perhaps best known for starring in the 1984 comedy film Revenge of the Nerds as Harold Wormser. Cassese is an Italian American native of Brooklyn, New New York He attended Patchogue-Medford High School on Long Island, graduating in 1990.
Cassese graduated from the New York University Film School and had 3 years production experience with FOX News in New New York
An actor by trade, his credits also include starring roles on Broadway in the productions of Smile and Nine, Tommy Tune"s award winning musical starring Raul Julia. Cassese was also one of the stars of the Columbia Broadcasting System series, television 101.
