Andrew Seth Trupin, American Geophysicist. Achievements include research on the 18.6 year and 14.3 month ocean tides, early estimate of the rise in global sea level; calculations ofthe effects of changing polar and glacial ice on earth rotation and on earth's gravity; development of engine installations and thermal analysis of 767 airplane. National Aeronautics and Space Administration grantee, 1991, National Science Foundation grantee, 1993.
