BELOZERSKY, Andrey was born in 1905.
1927 graduated Biology Department, Physico-Mathematical Faculty, Central Asian University, Tashkent. 1927-1930 postgraduate course in plant physiology.
1930-1946 assist, then lecturer,Department of Plant Biochemistry, Moscow University. Co-Editor, “Chemistry” section, “Bolshaya meditsinskaya entsiklopediya” (Large Medical Encyclopedia), 2nd edition. Member, Editor Council, journals “Voprosy meditsinskoy khimii” (Problems of Medical Chemistry) and “Antibiotiki” (Antibiotics), etc.
Works deal with: presence of common proteins in nucleoproteids. Nucleic acids and proteins. Changes in the nucleic acid content of bacteria in different phases and under the influence of antibiotics.
Religion is bad because it stops people thinking in a rational and objective way.
