Wyzykowski, Andrzej Piotr was born on October 19, 1938 in Lwow, Poland. Son of Tadeusz and Janina (Moszynska) Wyzykowski.


Master of Architecture, Cracow University of Technology, 1961. Doctor of Philosophy, Cracow University of Technology, 1974. Doctor of Science, Cracow University of Technology, 1987.


Assistant designer Sp-nia Pracy Dokumentacji Technicznej, Cracow, 1961-1963. Senior assistant designer Trehearne, Norman, Preston & Partners, London, 1963-1967. Assistant professor University of Technology, Cracow, 1967-1992, associate professor, since 1992, head of division urban renewal and development, since 1994.

Senior designer, consultant Al Jazera Consultant, Kuwait, 1989-1990. Visiting distinguished Reagan professor College of Architect and Planning, University Tennessee, Knoxville, 1992-1994.

Designer creative architectural works (Polish Ministry of Culture and Art award 1980), town planning and architectural projects (more than 25 awards and distinctions 1968-1995).


Member civic committee Cracow Monument Preservation, since 1978. Fellow Salzburg Congress on Urban Planning and Development. Member Polish Architects Association (Honorable Distinction award 1980), Society Polish Townplanners.
