Aniruddha Bose graduated in medicine from Medical College Bengal in 1981. He left for higher training to United Kingdom in 1984 and in 1986, he completed his FRCS, from there. In United Kingdom, after completing FRCS and his training in General Surgery, he took up Plastic Surgery as a career. In 1987 he obtained the Indian equivalent Diplomate National Board from India. In 1992 he was elected as a Fellow of British Association of Hand Surgeons.
