Anna Krupka was born on October 30, 1981, in Warsaw, Poland. Her public career developed in the political environment of Law and Justice, where she became involved in campaign work and internet communications during the party's expansion in the 2000s.
Krupka studied sociology at the University of Warsaw's Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology and received a master's degree in 2008. The University of Warsaw, founded in 1816, is Poland's largest public university and a major center of research and education in the humanities and social sciences.
In 2015 she completed postgraduate studies in internet marketing at the Warsaw School of Economics. The institution, established in 1906, is Poland's oldest university of economics and has long specialized in business, finance, management, and economic policy.
Krupka began her political work in 2005 in the campaign staffs of successful parliamentary and presidential campaigns associated with Law and Justice, later working in the party's internet-communications office. She also became involved in the party's youth program and served as editor in chief of its internet service. Law and Justice is one of Poland's principal political parties and has organized much of its public communication through parliamentary, governmental, and party institutions.
In 2014 she was elected to the Masovian Regional Assembly. The assembly is the elected body of Poland's largest voivodeship and participates in regional development, transport, culture, and economic policy. In the 2015 parliamentary election she won a seat in the Sejm from the Kielce district with 27,568 votes, beginning her service as a member of the eighth Sejm.
Krupka was reelected to the Sejm in 2019 with 69,946 votes and in 2023 with 39,854 votes. The Sejm is the lower house of Poland's national legislature, responsible for lawmaking, budgetary decisions, and parliamentary oversight. She was sworn in for the tenth term on November 13, 2023, and has served in the Law and Justice parliamentary club.
From 2018 to 2019 she was secretary of state in the Ministry of Sport and Tourism. She served as secretary of state in the Ministry of Sport in 2020 and in the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport from March 2021. In October 2021 she returned to the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, where her responsibilities included areas connected with sport policy, departmental oversight, sports funding, and preparation of athletes and sporting organizations. The ministry is the central government institution responsible for national sport and tourism policy.
From October 2021 to October 2024, Krupka served as a representative of the European Union on the Foundation Board of the World Anti-Doping Agency. WADA is the international body that coordinates anti-doping rules and cooperation among governments and the sports movement. In the Sejm's tenth term, she has served as deputy chair of the Committee on Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism and as a member of the Committee on Economy and Development.
She was elected to the Masovian Regional Assembly in 2014, beginning her elected public career at the regional level.
