Career
In the 1994 local election, she joined the Bydgoszcz City Council II term. In the 1998 election she was re-elected. In the 2002 election, she was elected to the Bydgoszcz City Council IV term representing the 6th district.
She polled 881 votes and was third on the Democratic Left Alliance-Labor Union list.
On 12 November 2006 she was elected to the Bydgoszcz City Council again (V term). She got 1,937 votes in the 6th district, as candidate from the Left and Democrats list.
She took office on 27 November 2006. In the 2009 European Parliament election she was a candidate of Democratic Left Alliance-Labor Union from Kuyavian-Pomeranian constituency.
