Quotations:
“My first and so far only novel for children, Dancing with Great-Aunt Cornelia, has absolutely nothing to do with my childhood. Except, maybe, that it was inspired by a respect for and delight in the messiness of families. I’m now nearly thirty years older than my heroine, Connie O’Malley, but like her I continue to discover how maddening my family is. And, like her, I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Connections
Anne Quirk married the physicist Robert M. Carey on August 1, 1987. They have two children - Isabel and Andrew.
