Anthony James Brazel, American Geographer, climatologist. Achievements include being one of first geographers to model aspects of Alpine climatology using digital and numerical surface climate models, research on dust storms and desertification of southwest United States, climate changes in this area. Grantee National Science Foundation. Fellow Arizona-Nevada Academy Science, Explorers' Club.
