From 1896 in revol movement. Arrested and exiled; 1900 worked for Nizhniy Novgorod Social-Democratic Organisation 1903-1904 with Baku Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party Committee.
1904-1906 with Saint St. Petersburg, then Moscow Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party Committee. Delegation at 4th (Amalgamativc) Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party Congress. 1905-1906 senior battle organizer for Lefortov, then Zamoskvorcch’ye Rayons of Moscow.
1917-1918 with Moscow Russian Social-Democratic Workers ’Party (Bolsheviks) Committee. Then abandoned politics. Teaching and research in the field of agric bacteriology.
From 1918 director Bacteriological Agronomical Station, People's Commissariat of Agric, Moscow. 1919-1922 professor, Golitsyn Agric Courses. From 1922 professor, Moscow Zootech Institute.
