He studied at Voronezh Children's Art School (1979-1983), at the architectural faculty of Voronezh Engineering and Construction Institute (1988-1993), the catechetical department of Moscow Saint Tikhon Theological Institute (1995-1997).
He studied at the school of icon painting art at Voronezh Pokrovsky Cathedral (1993-1994).
In 1996, together with V. A. Novikov, M. D. Petrov, V. N. Shcheglov, he made murals in the church of St. John the Divine in the village of Karamyshevo, Lipetsk region.
In 1997-1998, together with V.A. Novikov, he made murals in the altar of Voronezh Church of St. Nicholas
In 2000 he painted several icons for the church of Monk Alexander Nevsky in Lakewood, New Jersey, USA. In 2001, together with V. A. Novikov, he made the crucifix and the figure of the resurrected Savior in the Church of Mary Magdalene in Darmstadt, Germany; in 2003-2004 he made a series of icons for the iconostasis of the temple of the Holy Archangels in the monastery of James, the brother of the Lord in the village of Perister, near Thessaloniki, Greece; in 2004-2005, together with V.A. Novikov, he made murals in the Church of St. John the Baptist in the village of Rezan, near Thessaloniki, Greece, and others.
