And did her Bachelor of Arts Journalism in SRM University, Kattankulathur, Chennai, kanchipuram and she did her M.A mass communication from M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai. Her father K.Muralinath is an international basketball player, who represented India at the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi.
