Career
Arakazu Ojima was a chairman of Nihon Tetsugin Remmei (Japan League of Iron & Silver Industry), vice-chairman of Keidanren (Federation of Japan Economic Organizations), counselor of Bank of Japan and member of Keizai Shingikai (Economic Council). Worked in various posts of Ministry of Commerce and Industry, became director and later president of the Japan Steel Works.
