Arkady Vasilievich Chebotaryov was born on June 18, 1919, in Davydovo, Tambov oblast, Russian Federation.
In the mid-1920s, Arkady Vasilievich moved to Voronezh with his parents. He graduated from secondary school N9 (1937). In 1936-1938, Arkady studied in the drama club at the Palace of Pioneers under the direction of S.N. Voronov. He printed his poems in local newspapers.
Arkady Vasilievich graduated from the Moscow Theater School at the Theater of the Revolution (1941, course of M.F. Astangov), the Maxim Gorky Literature Institute (1961).
Arkady Vasilievich was a participant of the Great Patriotic War. In 1945-1946, he was an actor of the Central Theater of the Soviet Army. In 1946-1954, Arkady Vasilievich worked as an actor and literary head of the Vladimir Drama Theater. In 1954-1956, the head of the literary part of the Riga Russian Drama Theater. In 1956-1979, an employee of the newspaper "Gorky Worker".
