Career

1 daughter, Alice Craig (Mistress Charles H. Edgerton). Teacher public schools until 1872. County superintendent schools, 1873, 1890-1895.

Engaged in farming, since 1875. Postmaster, Mukwonago, Wisconsin, 1914-1923. Appointed captain of all postmasters in Wisconsin for sale of Treasury Saving Certificates and personally sold over $40,000 worth.

Originated and developed “Craig’s Honey Melon,” “Craig’s Silver Bantam” and “Craig’s Giant Bantam” sweet corn.
