He was a contestant in British Broadcasting Corporation Young Composer of the Year, in 2003. That same year he was a percussionist for the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain. In 2006, he joined tribute act, Fake That, playing the role of Gary Barlow.
He has worked extensively throughout United Kingdom and Europe with Fake That, other Take That Tributes and various other projects.
In 2011, he was a contestant on The X Factor, he performed in front of judge Gary Barlow Who was quoted as saying "you look amazing, its like looking in the mirror" This was covered widely by the media. Crowe still sings and plays for various artists.
He resides in both Spain and Manchester.
