Asinamai started education at Bolori primary school from 1992-1998. Thereafter she proceeded to Shehu Garbai Secondary school for her Junior Secondary school from 1998-2000. Asinamai Athliamai Bitrus attended Foundation bilingual secondary school from 2001 to 2004 where he obtained his Senior Secondary school certificate exam

Since 2017 Asinamai worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow in Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.
